The Hunslet Rugby Foundation met up with Leeds Trinity on Friday 17th January to extend talks on our ongoing partnership. Both Michael Nuttall and Phil Hodgson who visited the meeting with the Trinity got a real clear idea of the way both parties can benefit from each other moving forwards. The partnership will provide a network for the students from the Trinity to deliver their Voluntary work experience with the Foundation and Club in a variety of ways. A very exciting link up which both partners will thrive off.
This link up also provides the Clubs first team a fantastic opportunity to use the Trinity’s training facilities. The first team have access to the Trinity’s Science Laboratories, the players will benefit from this sports science laboratory and nutrition and food preparation laboratory. Both laboratories provide excellent facilities for physiology, fitness testing, sport psychology practical work, dietary analysis and food preparation.
The laboratories have the latest specialist equipment such as a YSI 2300 automated blood lactate and glucose analyser, 3320 osmometer, COSMED Quark online gas analyser and Servomex gas analyser.
They also get access to the Technogym fitness suite which will monitor each players performance.
This is a very exciting link up and the Foundation are thrilled to have the Trinity on board.
If any individual or company would like to sponsor the Foundation and become a partner then please do so by contacting the Clubs development officer Michael Nuttall – firstname.lastname@example.org
